It's been revealed that Mehboob Khan the Leader of the Labour group on Kirklees council and councillor for Greenhead in Huddersfield has been caught making £2000 worth of personal calls to his girlfriend in Uzbekistan.Using the Council telephone for personal calls is strictly forbidden except in the event of an emergency and even then the Councillor concerned must report the fact to the Council and pay back the cost of the call.
In this case Councillor Khan conveniently forgot to mention the £2000 worth of personal calls he made and it was only when it was investigated and the calls were found to have come from his office that he came clean and admitted making the calls.
Strangely though the Chief Executive of the Council Rob Vincent has decided to take no action and has only requested that Khan pay back the money, in fact no-one would know about it if it hadn't been for a disgusted member of staff leaking it to the BNP group on Kirklees.
Khan should have been reported to the standards board and the police for theft.
PS It won't surprise you to know that Rob Vincent is a former Labour party member and obviously still a supporter.

This chap's sister is living with the midget Ian Brook who with his brother run the 'Kirklees Friends and Refugees Together'.
This is a local tax funded organisation and both brothers earn a pretty penny.
Ironically neither Ian nor his brother Alan live in areas with asylum seekers.
Ian lives in the nicer parts of Dalton, bordering Castle Hill and brother Alan lives in Magdale in Honley one of the nicest areas of Huddersfield.
He'll have had to convert to Islam then, no wonder he loves us so much the white trash
