Pakistan......insulted....how very dare you?

It would appear that we've upset Pakistan once again (which is a shame!) by awarding Salman Rushdie a knighthood.

They seem to be a bit miffed by the fact that Salman Rushdie wrote a book called the Satanic Verses - years ago - which poked fun at Islam and the title itself was thought to be a reference to the Koran's contents. And that we've had the cheek to reward his writing talents.

We'd better be careful upsetting the Pakistani's in this way. I mean they may recall their nationals and then where would we be? The country would go tits up and besides that I don't think I could face walking the streets of Dewsbury without my daily diversity and enrichment. It would be a living hell!

Joking apart who the hell do these lot think they are?
They're urging people to commit suicide bombings against us now.
The religious affairs minister Mohammed Ijaz ul-Haq said "The West is accusing Muslims of extremism and terrorism,(But) If someone exploded a bomb on his body,(Rushdies) he would be right to do so unless the British government apologizes and withdraws the sir title".
This is a member of the Pakistani Government who preaches from a book (the Koran) written by a paedophile that preaches death to anything or anyone non-Muslim and he has the cheek to be offended by someone writing a book daring to criticise his backward beliefs. Cheeky Bastard. Up yours Haq and take your primitive beliefs with you.
It was a book for Allah's sake!

It's true what the lady in the video below says that "it's not a clash of civilisations but a clash of two era's, between a mentality that belongs in the Middle Ages and between one that belongs in the 21st Century." Unfortunately there's almost 3 million of the buggers living here and growing rapidly.
Wake up Britain, vote BNP and quick!!
Read the story here and the un pc version here.

Anyone =who can remember the uproar that the satanic verses caused will remember the Fatwa etc. against Rushdie.

Where was the death threat against Gibson for the Passion of Christ?

We're too placid for our own good.

How much of yours and my money did it cost to protect Rushdie for the last 10 years?
Surely not as much as a ferry trip to France and let him be their problem? :D
